What's that Motorcade reissue worth? (just curious)

On orange I'd put it in the $85-$100 range. I haven't seen one on eBay since Kirby sold his over a year ago. They have stopped selling the standard black reissue so that should gain some in the next few years. I think Amazon still has some of the black ones if I remember correctly.

Orange was only sold through the temporary Cake webstore at the time. You would had to have been on their mailing list to receive the link or someone would have needed to direct you to the page. They weren't sold in stores or elsewhere on the internet. They sold out in two days. Not sure why I wasn't on the mailing list, but I completely missed out. My consolation....I already had an original pressing which appears to have only been a promo pressing because every copy I have seen has a hole punched in the bar code.

EDIT - If it is still sealed the sticker on the front will say it's orange.

Ha! No, I picked one up a year or so back from someone off the Hoffman site, I think it might be orange, but didn't know that was special...

Don't feel too bad about not being on the mailing list. I was, I bought it, I got an email a month or so later saying "our bad we oversold" and that I could still get a black one. Handled very poorly. My original copy of motorcade does not have a hole punch in it either. So there must be some that either missed the punch or got out. I bought it and Fashion Nugget at a no longer existing store in Seattle back in the day.

@runofthemill - Yeah, of course there was also the secondary market. My understanding is there were 500 pressed on orange.

@nesguys - Interesting, yours is the first I have heard of where the barcode didn't have a hole punched in it. Cool! I was lucky enough to get my original Motorcade and Fashion Nugget covers signed by the whole band in Indianapolis last year. I also bought from the presale to get a copy of Compassion signed by the 4 core members of the band and then last month was able to get Paulo and Xan to sign a couple things after the show in "Detroit".
