I need the 7-inch vinyl "We Are Going To Be Friends" from RSD this Friday. I can't get out of town. If it doesn't detach from the book I'll take the whole thing. I have some stuff I can trade but I could also buy it if you'd like to sell. Hit me if you can help.
EDIT: Of course, if this isn't an RSD exclusive I should be able to buy it myself from TMR's online shop and this offer is void.

Someone on Facebook posted a photo. They said it was on a video posted on Twitter but I can't find the video.

OK, now Third Man has announced it as a stocking stuffer. May not be an RSD exclusive. We'll see.

Still don't see it anywhere on their site....seems a little late to add a Black Friday release like that but what do I know.

TMR has made the announcement on their Facebook page but doesn't say whether or not it's a Black Friday exclusive. Here's the photo they have there:

I hope it's the Stripes version on the record. If so, this will mark the first time that song has been available as a vinyl single and I'd need it for my Stripes singles collection. 'Cause I'm a nerd.

So, does this magical book w/ record exist? Haven't seen any on eBay, the hot bed for knowing if something is vaporware or not.

Just got in line for tickets and my kid is already harassing me about driving 9 hours so we could then sleep in a tent in front if a record store.

haha I definitely won't be taking my kid. But a friend from Illinois wants to go so I may go stand in that cold, cold line.
