Yeah, that's what the website says.
I never like those official "best of ever" lists, but I'm impressed with this one. Mostly because PJ Harvey's "Let England Shake" made it, that was a brilliant record.

Ridiculous list but as I own 19 of them I suppose it may have some merit and I will need to buy the one I am missing.
Don't believe the 60's was the golden age of pop. You glorify the past when the future dries up.

you have to remember, this was voted by readers of a certain magazine at a certain point of time in the UK. Arguably, older records aren't on the same playing field as newer ones.

Too low for sure, be interesting to see what the answers to the same question would be in 20yrs time (best records of 1993-2013)

I wonder how much higher it would be currently if they only counted votes from people 35 and over?

Possibly the best album of the last 20 years (definitely 10 years): John Grant - Queen Of Denmark. Suede's Dog Man Star would also be there.
Really this is just a list of albums that most people own, nothing out of the ordinary and very predictable
•<Jack White> we also want to come up with vault packages you don't like, a streaming service to make rich people richer, a t shirt
too big for you, and a bunch of shit you don't want but we're hold ing a gun to your head to purchase.

I just learned of John Grant a couple months ago. I won a copy of Pale Green Ghosts, and it has blown me fully away. I don't have QOD yet, though.

"Let England Shake” is indeed sheer brilliance.
