Shane, if I can give advice from what we learned over at the french forum and the tribute album:

- You need a decision maker, a ruthless General. HE AND ONLY HE will have the final decision power. Otherwise you'll end up making polls for every step and it's time consuming/fustrating... gets boring.

- Limit yourself as much as you can. GIVE definite DEADLINES. NO LATENESS ACCEPTED. Our effort took forever just because people couldn't get round sending their track in time.

- use wetransfer.com to send files around, encourage soundcloud.com to people who need to showcase their work in progress. Very useful in our case for duet over the internet, guitar parts, piano parts etc...

USE bandcamp to showcase the finished product ! Brilliant website BTW, it's free.
