Well some might say that this is Rob Jone's Mona Lisa, well okay I say it is but some might disagree. The poster is inspired by the film Metropolis and Rob got most of the images from Ben Blackwell's post cards. Rob spent around 150 hours working on this poster which is pretty mind boggling. Some would argue that the Paris 05 is better I say you are wrong and I am the poster afficianado so that means I am definitely right, end of discussion. If you look hard you can see Jack and Meg hiding in the poster

Edition size: 192
Poster size: 23.5x34

I had a look today, and I couldn't find them. Any hints? I've found them on the other two 05 Detroits.

They are different shades of red. There is some variation in RJs reds, it's true. The Inglewood is pretty close to the spotlight, the moncton is brighter. It works for me though, looks a bit less matchy-matchy. :)

They definitely fit together
I just wanted to know since the only RJ-WS I own have the same red on them
Milan 07, Paris-Jack 07 and Camera posters
(well at least I remember that their red matches)

Yeah, it's a funny thing with the reds. The Krusty Color (03-04) reds are different than the the D&L reds, but there is some variation amongst the 05 and 07 posters from the same tour even. I don't know if it's on purpose to give a particular effect like Twain in the Moncton or if red just looks different in space (Inglewood). :P The spotlight print is a bit of an exception because the paper was flooded with red and then printed overtop, it's a very deep red in person. I like the link between the white opacities in the spotlights and the scorpion on Twain's shoulder.

I just noticed that the clocks on the bell towers in all three prints in this triptych do not say the same time. The Sept 30th print says 11:35, the Oct 1st says 12:15, and the Oct 2nd print says 11:55. I wonder what other things Rob is hiding in these prints besides the hidden Jack & Meg in each one of course.

I wonder if Rob has some hidden message spelled out in morse code written with all of the "randomly" turned on lights amongst all the buildings.
