How much are the Las Vegas Lps worth?
I got one that I won a couple of years ago. It's my prize possession.

TMR had them for $250 but recently a copy went on eBay for about $400 or somethingrgtx80 wrote:How much are the Las Vegas Lps worth?

Apparently 40 signed and ...260? unsigned? I think there were 300 made. 40 signed though, I'm pretty sure about that.

I snagged an autographed one last year for under $250.00. One of my favorite shows.

is there any history of fake signed copies that anyone knows about? I see the signed copies go for alot more money and I did not want to try and get one without knowing how to spot a fake.

The thing about this one is that it comes of for sale on ebay what feels like all the time. I think people must buy it, rip it on their on own system and then sell it again. Of course, the thing about SBD shows is that they are generally kind of meh for sound--the vocals typically overpower the instruments and seem off; FM broadcasts tend to have a better mix of the sounds, plus the light-mid crowd noise that actually makes you fee like you're somewhat there. I guess, don't get me wrong, SBDs are great and I do wish there were more of them, but I can image a lot of folks paying for this Vegas set and not being very impressed by it for the money.richardcosta wrote:is there any history of fake signed copies that anyone knows about? No. I don't like to buy signatures. A and B were good. I like bootlegs, being from the NIrvana generation, and professional ones are always the best.love_islander wrote:a signed one?stoutr wrote:I just got one of these, lets talk about it.

Neither do I but these are different imo.stoutr wrote:No. I don't like to buy signatures. A and B were good. I like bootlegs, being from the NIrvana generation, and professional ones are always the best.love_islander wrote:a signed one?stoutr wrote:I just got one of these, lets talk about it.
These were signed by the band and then given away so it's not like a stranger was begging for sigs and is now selling it.
I have a signed canvas poster from WBC that was given away as a prize in '02
The fact that the signing was initiated by the band is a different story for me.
I'd like to sleep 100 days, my feeling has gone, flesh cold and numb.

Finally received mine today! The only thing that i don't beleive is that it is unplayed. I looks a bit dusty and there are some very very light scuff marks. i'm going to play it eventually, though. signatures look great too

Re: Album: Live in Las Vegas
I have been trying to get a signed copy and one signed copy recently sold on feebay for $737. my question is regarding the signatures. this one had the signatures on the top of the sleeve opposite one another. I had never seen one that was not signed with Meg on top and Jack diagonally opposite on the bottom of the sleeve. anyone have one with both signatures on top? I questioned the authenticity and the seller told me he got it from a DJ in Detroit and could produce a COA (hmmm).
