For some reason my store wouldn't tell me when I emailed them. Just "multiple copies"...

So this is looking more like a Black Keys/Stooges release than a Dave Matthews Set

Seriously reconsidering queuing up early for it now, considering my nearest store is 50 miles away.

I'm gonna call around to stores here in Melbourne today
Really hoping someone has some copies
Luckily I have tomorrow off work and a car with a full tank of gas

Did you find the place I was telling you about? I think you might be in luck with that store

My local store got their records in along with 50 copies of Elephant. :/

I think it'll be harder to find the Pujol 7" than the WS releases this year.

I got this pamphlet from one of the stores called 'diggin Melbourne' and its got a map and list of all the record stores around and the only one in Richmond on this list is one called 'this is it hip hop shop'. I don't now that they would have it... Haha

But if I find a place with it I'll update here for anyone interested.

I think it might be Northside Records - 237 Gertrude St Fitzroy - sorry, I get confused between all of the football team suburbs...

looking at google maps I think it is 183 gertrude st. Northside isn't the store, but Title is where I found heaps of TMR stuff last time

After a change in plans, I will be going to TMR with my wife. It will be more special to buy elephant from the blue room!

Thanks man, I'll give them a call when they open. I really hope they have them. I've had no luck with any other store so far.

I've tried the following and no one has them

Northside Records
Title (one in fitzroy and cbd)
Polyester records x2
Obese records
Greville records
Off the Hip (my favourite answer was from this guy who simply said "absolutely not")
Title northcote
Records etcetera


Now there were 2 stores that said they were possibly expecting it just the shipment hasn't arrived yet
Basement discs in cbd and Thornbury records in Thornbury.

Thornbury records guy said he was expecting it in a shipment of stuff from Nashville. I'll try back tonight's before they close.

I'm pretty discouraged but they are rays of light.

Has anyone in Australia had any luck with record stores stocking the limited edition Elephant? Haven't had any joy in Perth

It's looking like Australia got the shaft from Nashville this year

So it looks like thornbury records has some! He said he wasn't sure the price but to budget 40 bucks and you should be fine
