The runout text is different between the two versions:

1st (translucent) XL press:

XLLP-151-A1 GRAZZ - THE EXCHANGE DAMONT
XLLP-151-B1

The second press is:

XLLP-151-A2 GRAZZ - THE EXCHANGE
XLLP-151-B2

(That info was originally posted by PCRL on the Little Room; I just re-checked it from my own copies and other than correcting PCRL's "DU MONT" to the correct "DAMONT", the info matches)
You sir, are a scholar and a gent.
And I, as you correctly stated, merely have a(nother) gap in my collection.
Dammit.

OH, ha. Well that is helpful. In an entirely different direction.
Wait, are you saying PCRL is Dave Buick...I think I missed something, as I thought PCRL was someone else entirely.
Not sure but this might be my fault, I thought they were three separate people, and that the 'Dave' was Buick, apparently they are one person, therefore I have no idea if that's Buick.

This is actually quite odd, judging from my copies, the 2008 opaque must have been made from the original opaque master plates, as it also has no DAMONT and the B number is very faint and obviously an addition. So the 2nd press must have been from a different plate.

And by the way, if anyone has one, I AM LOOKING AGAIN.

The 1st (translucent) press has the DAMONT text. The 2nd (opaque) and 3rd (2008 opaque) presses do not say "DAMONT" and do indeed appear to have been pressed from the same plates (the runout text matches and the 3rd press has the extra B... number that coldsoup referred to.)

Dave/puddle city racing lights/AluminiumMan = Dave Bloomfield from the UK (and not Dave fallhead/Italy Records Buick)

I bought the 13" versions of WBC and DS a while back and was wondering about their history. I mentioned in the URP thread in Jumble Jumble that the 8" records made for SXSW in 2010 were developed as 10" records that had extra vinyl trimmed off to achieve 8" size. When touring URP, the tour guide wasn't sure how exactly they made the 13" records. Well, in doing some comparisons, looks like they used the original V2 plates and pulled the lead in backwards to 13" size as the plates for the V2 release of WBC are the same as the 13" version, only the matrix numbers were scratched out save the A on the A-Side and the other two doodly marks. Comparison shots below. I would assume the same is true for DS and BBs but I don't have originals of those two to complete a comparison.

For all those people trying to get ALL the variants of the XL RED vinyl, there has just been a new press. Released in the UK this week

XLLP-151-A2 B670532-01 A2 GRAZZ - THE EXCHANGE
XLLP-151-B2 B670532-01 B2

There is also a slight variation in the font on the barcode, even though the numbers are the same.

Not sure if this is exactly the same as the THIRD press (as I don't have that one to compare). If somebody can give the complete Matrix numbers of that version then that would be great.

That one's been around since at least July 2009 but they might have reissued it again recently:
WBC is on Red Vinyl:
XLLP-151-A2 GRAZZ - THE EXCHANGE B670532 - 01 A2
XLLP-151-B2 B670532 - 01 B2

The latest XL reissue on red vinyl should be in some people's hands by now.
Can someone post some details please?
Any sticker on the seal indicating the color?
Is it transparent or opaque red?
