3" The Denial Twist is up on ebay?

Post by Eschoner02 »

Greetings everyone,
I am new to the forum but not new to JW. However, I was searching Ebay while at work and came across this listing for a 3" Denial Twist vinyl. ANybody know how many were pressed? How rare are they?

http://www.ebay.com/...d=p5197.c0.m619

The auction appears to be ending Monday so if anybody can give me more information about it, it be greatly appreciated.

Please let me know if anybody has any info on it.

Much Thanks.
Peace & Respect

Welcome to the forum.

It is generally a good idea to search for a thread before creating a new one.

Here is the thread for the 3" Denial Twist http://www.whiteswirl.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=25

Also, there is a thread in "The Merch Stand" for eBay listings. It is here: http://www.whiteswirl.com/forum/viewtop ... f=17&t=260

But to answer your question: Im not sure it is public knowledge how many were pressed. They were only distributed by Jack and never sold. As for a price, it depends what people will pay for it. Lets see if this one sells, then you will have an answer. If not, then the answer will be less than $900. The TMR market is a little softer at the moment than it has been. So it is very hard to say.
Has everything you said today been true?

That link will show you the prices of past auctions. I don't really think many have been selling for those prices lately with the market this way..

^^ The upside-down sticker?

That will always be one of my favorite photos of Jack. As with everything else, he certainly puts his own spin on cycling kit. And I will be forever curious what his intentions are with that raccoon.
"And the message is clear: if we want Jack White as our hero, he will entertain, but not pander. We have to accept all his flaws, whims, caprices and manias as a critical, sometimes uncomfortable, part of the contract."
