I bought this LP over the weekend and noticed that the side with the roman numeral "III" on it actually plays side fower.
Does anyone else have one like this?

side "III" plays side 4 and side 4 plays what should be on side "III".

I don't think "III" indicates that it's the third side, it's just a picture I believe. I'm not sure how mine plays though..

I'd have to check my record this evening to be sure, but I am guessing that the labels were accidently put on the wrong sides of the record when pressed. Just a simple mistake at the factory. Probably made on a Friday when everyone was trying to get out the door for a beer or twenty.

Here's a link for them doubters:

Can't imagine that it won't be a TMR reissue...

Wonder why they're skipping over Elephant.

^^ Exactly my point!! Good to know it's in the process, though.

No word about Satan, I assume?

There's nothing in that announcement to indicate a reissue of Icky Thump with a TMR catalog number. It has the original UPC barcode from 2007 and Warner remains as the label partner. I think someone asked that this resume being pressed and the powers that be agreed. TMR philosophy is to reissue old albums that are no longer being pressed, if this is simply a repress they wouldn't need to be involved. Also, Icky Thump was originally pressed at RTI, not URP.
