Handpainted Lafayette Blues

Post by Bikedo »

I managed to track down this guy who once was a temporarily owner of a handpainted Lafayette Blues.
Got in touch with him and he dug up a picture of #3 done by Jack White.
Today he contacted me and posted a picture on the Little Room.

Now don't go bombarding this guy with pm's about who, how, when and what he's not interested in reveiling who owns it and doesn't want to make a big deal out of it. He was surprised that when he posted it on LR years ago, nobody saved the photo.
I'm just glad he wanted to show us #3.

So there goes the theory of Dave 1-7 and Jack 8-14.

Nice work Bikedo...
Wonder where it is now? I just wish Santa had it.

Thanks for tracking that down and sharing it with us Kees. Now Sean can add the pic to his archives.

I keep forgetting how young you are. But then I'm reminded.

Seriously though. It's not as like they have some magical power and we are trying to throw them all into the fiery depths of Mordor. Tell em to stop being so selfish and let us have a look at em.

Dude you shell out $15k for something and it is yours to do with what you like... show it, burn it, hide it, sleep with it, whatever you like. There's nothing public domain about it other than out of the goodness of their hearts they are letting them be seen.

That being said it is some paint, paper and worthless chemicals pressed in a circle. I guess I just like to share so when people are secretive or unsharing... If that is a word... it bugs me.
