Pretty excited to have this new wooden Hotel Yorba toy in my future. It will keep my fingers busy and my mind off of superfluous things for the time it will take me to construct. Gin & Apathy is from the same restless minds that brought you the Laura Marling animation and on-demand lathe cut records out of Melbourne (Das Record Automat). And winter trees? I'm dead.

They had one of these in the case in Nashville on BF. it was REALLY cool! We tried to buy it, but no dice. Told us they might have them available later. Thanks for the link...ordered!

I never knew that Hotel Yorba wasn't a rectangle, it's got the sections sticking out the back. It almost looks like public housing or something. I'm thinking the Projects in nyc..

Pretty accurate assessment. Saw it in October, seedy is kinda an understatement. BUT, they do rent rooms by the hour for people on a budget

As you may have seen, Gin & Apathy hooked up with TMR for RSD this year! It means that there's a special edition of this bobble. They've also gone and made a nifty animation to mark the occcasion. Oh, and if you can't get to Detroit or Nashville they've held back a few to sell through a special link which is ultra convenient for those not living in the US of Fascism.

Additional TMR & TWS logos on rear, 'THE WHITE STRIPES' cut out text on the floor at J&M's feet, hand painted in gouache instead, different stickers inside, completely different packaging. Standard edition makes no mention of TMR or TWS.
