Been unable to get the site to load all day. Is it still just the first 5 albums or are there now others?

The nostalgia factor is there and cassettes are still an analog so I get it to a point. I make mix tapes from time to time to put in my Walkman while working out but that's a nostalgia thing for me. It's fun, reminds me of when I was a kid. But you lose so much in the smaller format. Sound quality is terrible compared to 1/4" reel to reel, iPod, CD's or vinyl. I could never use cassettes as a primary format.

I love tapes, agreed its mostly nostalgia but I listen to them a ton anyway (in the car where I have my tape player). While sound quality isnt great, alot of the newer bands that are putting out tapes (jeff the brotherhood, ty segall, burger records bands) arent very hi-fi to begin with.

As a small band its alot cheaper to put out a tape than vinyl. And CDs dont have the cool factor

I find this funny. Jack is becoming more like Gene every day.
Novelty, toys, tricks, and anything to make a $.
Won't be long and he will say he invented the number 3 and anyone using it must pay him royalties.
