It is the first 3 (for now anyway).Jamie wrote:Been unable to get the site to load all day. Is it still just the first 5 albums or are there now others?
The nostalgia factor is there and cassettes are still an analog so I get it to a point. I make mix tapes from time to time to put in my Walkman while working out but that's a nostalgia thing for me. It's fun, reminds me of when I was a kid. But you lose so much in the smaller format. Sound quality is terrible compared to 1/4" reel to reel, iPod, CD's or vinyl. I could never use cassettes as a primary format.elduderino wrote:the whole world can kiss my ass with cassettes. seriously.
freaking cassettes? and CDs are made fun of...
I love tapes, agreed its mostly nostalgia but I listen to them a ton anyway (in the car where I have my tape player). While sound quality isnt great, alot of the newer bands that are putting out tapes (jeff the brotherhood, ty segall, burger records bands) arent very hi-fi to begin with.shaneoftheroad wrote:The nostalgia factor is there and cassettes are still an analog so I get it to a point. Won't be long and he will say he invented the number 3 and anyone using it must pay him royalties.
