Still struggling to find a copy with something even close to resembling reasonable shipping to the UK.

It's the most glorious thing (or things) in the history of gloriousness. The only way to make it, or them, any better would be if Jack had written Ball and Biscuit by that time.

I was doing a quick comparison between the MP3s and the first LP. The LP sounds a bit muddy and distorted while the MP3s are brighter with more vocals. I sampled the second LP a little as well, but it sounds worse which I think was more because of mic placements and original mixing. I'm sure the BBC recorded only mixed down feeds of these shows so there was only so much TMR had to work with to create the vinyl release. I typically enjoy the later performances anyway so it's not a big deal to me, probably just won't play it much.

Side note - My vinyl rather ugly on the surface. It plays and it's flat, but lots of small divots. I was rather surprised they weren't warped with as many as they churned out and pressing to standard weight.

Sorry I'm very late to this. I wasn't fussed at RSD as I thought I'd pick up the retail version as I'd prefer black vinyl/cheapness, until I found out that the GBMS retail version still hasn't been released (I picked that up on RSD), so I'm not certain if/when the Peel Sessions will be. Juno have it listed as 25th July, but this seems unlikely (no-one else has listed, plus that's a Monday). I'm now going to need to import (unless any UK Swirlers know where I can get a copy),

Are MP3s from a download card (as for the two most recent RSD releases) or do you just have MP3s of them to compare to? It would be a bonus to have digital copies too.

This record finally popped up at my local record shop. It's the coloured version so I think it's the RSD version. Happy I was able to scoop it up!

My record store was sold out when I got there for RSD. I am waiting for the black vinyl, they said it would be coming out.

Stores around here still have the RSD version in stock....
If they make a plain black version I'm sure they will just wait till their own plant is up and running.
