I think you just hit the nail on the head. I pulled out my black copy and that's what the insert looks like.

I saw a copy instore today and the back over is different as well!
I'm happy there's distinct differences between the standard re-issue and the RSD issue outside of LP color.

I did post pictures here but I see that they are not working anymore. I'm afraid the person on facebook either removed or put them on private. Sorry.
Basically it's pictures of the lenticular cover removed leaving a white sticker, and then them slowly rubbing that off to reveal the picture underneath.

this is an amazing record, i love the artwork.
the litho in the inside of this gordian knot is so beautiful.

acually i bought the record after i've seen a pic of the cover on the web.
i own the promo and don't really needed it...
