White Swirl

I didn't see a photo thread when I searched, but maybe I missed it.
So this topic is to post photos, and also to ask where to find specific ones.

To start with, I'm looking for a (much) bigger version of this one:

That was a thumbnail link to this article in Paste magazine:

But the photo does not appear in the article anywhere.

Anybody have any clue as to when/where it's from, or where to find a bigger copy?

I'm curious why you say that? Are photos discouraged here?
Or is there nobody else here interested in photos?

On topic....

As someone who frequents both the LR and Swirl and enjoys both, I find it quite refreshing that one is a "fan" forum and one is a "collector's" forum. Otherwise, they'd just be the same place with different people.

I rarely weigh in on such political topics but I personally would like to see this place stay focused on collecting topics. LR already exist for all other things Jack such as pics and rumors.

Well i think there is room for both... collectors are definely fanboys and fangirls no matter how you stack it up

ya gotta admit that collectors have use for good photos in their 'process' of taking an indepth interest...

this photo is a great example of what i might post and have an interest in discussing relative to the gear and details of the setting



its based on my interest in Jack and his work so this seems like a good thread to take up a conversation for the sake of learning more

i am not the sort of collector who is focused on either monetary or even singularly significant things relative to the fact that i am not focused on a particular sort of genre and seek no particular outcomes in my collecting... and yet i am a collector and have some things of interest/value

so... anyone care to talk about some of the amps or other items in the photo i posted?

So wouldn't photo's of jack and co. fall under some's collection?

I mean some folks collect records, some collect dust, others may COLLECT jack white photo's.

I don't collect photo's,just dust.

But it seems appropriate that there would be a thread for this form of collecting on this forum about collecting.

I'm pretty sure if Hawke can post 1000 dick pictures flying every where, you can post whatever pics of jack if you want.
I was only stating my preference to see this place stay collector focused. Your preference can be for it to turn into a pic and whatever forum, both are right.

Post away. Think I might start me a gun and cars thread on here while I'm at it...
