Re: Jack White photos - find, share, whatever
I imagine everyone has seen these images by now, but since they're the first promo photos for his first solo album, I kinda figured they could go here, for the sake of posterity:
They're both great images, but I especially love the second one. It makes me wonder what the album art will be like.
(I'm also a bit confused on why the thread on the solo album is in the TMR section along with all the other TMR releases, while the thread on the tour for the solo album is in the section on "jack white related projects" which is mostly for other bands. Maybe it's time for another subforum, just for his solo projects?)

I've thought about it but two topics don't make a whole forum..

recent images and sentiment behind them
im not sure if these images are recent releases which have appeared no where else but i like them
the tone of these images is different and seemingly more down to earth for me ... dare i say relaxed?? that may be pushing it but contemplative for certain

Oh, yeah - I really like that first one, never saw it before.
I never saw this one either, and the article is interesting too:
The article from Collectors Weekly:
http://www.collectorsweekly.com/article ... rd-empire/
Like this one too:
That piece is from when TMR did the eBay auctions for charity:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2010/de ... y-auctions
Nice pic of Jack and Wanda:
Article with that:

(Not that links to articles are necessary here, but it's interesting how often I run across good articles
when I'm doing image searches; and vice-versa.)

Oh yeah - I think you're right about that screenshot, it looks familiar from the video. Screenshots count as photos too, though.
I just came across this slide show of "eerie" Jack White pictures, most of which I really like:
http://www.9news.com/news/article/24589 ... Jack-White
I don't know if that originally went with an article or what; but it came out around the time that the news of the solo album hit online.

i find this to be the most controversial of pix in this tour... there is a too close tension about it that works with Love Interruption

Why eerie? Strange word for them to choose. Some good pictures there though.DeeBee wrote:Oh yeah - I think you're right about that screenshot, it looks familiar from the video. Screenshots count as photos too, though.

Re: Jack White photos - find, share, whatever
makes you wonder if they have ever incorporated the word 'intense' into their vocabulary... eerie... ha ... i thought this same thought about how inappropriate the use of the word was and then decided it was all spin to get hits at their site... nuff said
