How about someone starts a jack fanzine just like the old days.

Neat idea, but paper fanzines are probably a thing of the past now.
An online fanzine would be cool. Actually there are more than a few
blogs out there devoted to Jack White, on Tumblr and elsewhere.
Not quite the same as a fanzine though.

There are hundreds of 'paper' zines around Portland. None about JW, I'm sure.
I got that deep into variants once before with a collection, please shoot me if I go there again, it will drive you crazy I promise...
But nice stuff for sure.

hahaha... that is likely very true ... the nature of being a 'fan' and being a 'collector' have become one and the same

these days fanzines are very much about their 'genre' in the sort of atypical life choices way that is more 'life' and less 'style'

there are a couple zines that i follow and collect and they seldom even deal with celebrity or status but much more focus on choice and change

i read a lot of microcosm press stuff... this one was one of my favorites really

ditto....actually these would be a great idea. Especially if there's a collectors section where one could stay "in the know" about recent and future sales/releases. could have the "rarity of the month" page. It'd be nice to have something like this tangible with info on all these things.
