The Greenhornes!

Post by EdwardWBjornson »

Just started getting a bit into them :)
Anyone care to give us all a little guide to their discography, how many pressings of what singles/LPs, and maybe a bit about value of different things?

The most expensive thing of theirs would be the "Gun For You" CD, I would think

Just got back from the nyc show tn, it was incredible. i met everyone in the band just hanging out in diffrent parts of the venue before the show started and they were kind to sign my saying goodbye 7" i brought with me. BP fallon was there hanging out and i also spoke with him breifly, he introduced the greenhornes and recited most of Fame # 9 which was very cool. i also took an amazing video of ill go crazy which i will post tommorow along with some cool pictures and a better review. great night :D

Saw them in Chicago the past two nights and they were excellent openers for the black keys. Really amazing shows.

For the greenhornes, the merch stand was selling:
switchblade combs
lighters
2 different slip mats (cobra and cat)
a beer cozy (honestly)
a few t-shirts
coloured vinyl of 4 stars
TMR single

The posters for the shows are really nice pieces by Daniel Danger. Dec 30 and Jan 1 are a diptych in blue of the huge NYE poster in red.

The Danger posters were surely a special treat.
I saw them in Danger's fb page but didnt notice they were from the show many guys from here would attend.
I focused on the thought of an art print release without the lettering

Adam you made it to all 3 shows?
Please check my TMR pin/button ISO viewtopic.php?f=18&t=11426

Just the NYE and NYD shows. NYD was the best show between the two, too much debauchery on NYE, the crowd was weak. Chicago is really a beautiful city, this trip hasn't been nearly long enough and I'll be coming back for sure. I'll post some pics and video from the show when I get home.
