Seems I've been oblivious to some goings on - the black keys AND the Greenhornes are coming to Australia in a few weeks for The Big Day Out. The gods of the Big Day Out have forever screwed with me - since 1997 when i first wanted to go there's always something that has come up to prevent me from going to the ones when I want to go to them; and when I can go to them, the lineup for the show is shitty. This year I'm being posted to the western jungles of PNG for 6 weeks straight. You win again BDO

EDIT: Not only are there several bands I want to see - they all lineup such that there are no clashes between performances. Grumble grumble...

this is by far my favorite greenhornes 7" for the sole fact the b side "i dont hear you" is amazing. its my favorite greenhornes song right now. if anyone collects GH vinyl and doesn't have this i highly suggest grabbing it. theres a copy available here http://www.discogs.com/sell/list?releas ... 8526&ev=rb for 20$ which is an amazing deal. if i didnt already have 3 copies i would grab this one also thats how much i love it. i figured i should spred this musical joy to someone else who might be interested. grab it while you can.

Does it get better? Yes it does, because not only are the shows with Nashville’s best two piece ‘Hawkwind on skateboards’ Jeff The Brotherhood, but they’ll also be releasing a split 7” together on Jeff’s own Infinity Cat records! I'm only about 45 minutes from Louisville, where Nashville takes me 3 hours.

Louisville for us is 2 hours and Nashville is an hour. 45 minutes if I need to get to TMR asap.
